VILLA GLÜCK - HISTORY

1960 meets both architects Lukas Matthias Lang and Harry Glück at large project "Grossfeldsiedlung" located municipal suburban settlement in the 21st district of Vienna, Floridsdorf, and one of the largest municipal buildings in Vienna with 5516 apartments.

1973-1985

At this time frame Harry Glück build one of the most famous, nature and luxury guided residential park Alterlaa in Vienna.

For this project Harry Glück developed together with an manufacturer unique wooden windows. Same windows has been used 1979 at Villa Glück.

1978-1979

Walter Umlauf from Vienna build the Villa in Bad Aussee. The architect Lukas Matthias Lang designed the villa. The attic is made of solid wood, the beams are up to 46 cm thick and the roof is completely constructed of 7 cm thick wood without purlins.

Not only are the windows special, but the entire building was built at very high construction costs.

1991

Architect DI. Friedrich Wilhelm Poppen from Germany bought the villa and made some changes, separating an area as an independent apartment for household help. Together with his wife he travelled around the world and you can find still a map in the villa.

2021

Technical engineer Jakob Miazga and his wife, Verena Miazga, purchased the villa for their own residence. At that time, they did not have any detailed renovation plans; they instantly fell in love with the villa at first sight and envisioned it as a warm and welcoming home. It took them six months to finalize the ownership transfer.

2022-2025

After over two years of intricate and detailed work, the villa has been renovated and given a luxurious new shine. Throughout this period, we explored all the facts and history of this unique and welcoming home, which we have named VILLA GLÜCK.

Close to the end of 2024 the decision was taken and VILLA GLÜCK is now since the beginning of 2025 for sale!
